Description
British handmade antique/vintage pottery farm animal wall hanging plates. Transfer or hand painted scene of a farm hand herding Cows, Bulls & Steers across a river. The decorator added the same technique used in late 19th early 20th century chromatography pictures, prints and engravings.
Both plates are made of a white earthenware with cream glazes and colour enamels, outer edges are hand painted in green. The plates have impressed and painted made in England marks on the bottom. No artist signature to be seen on the pair.
Materials: Clay, White Earthenware, Colour Enamels.

Date: Circa 1900 to 1930's
Condition: Very good used with some very light domestic wear or marks including some natural ageing and grazing in the glaze on both plates. No cracks or chips.
Approx. Size/Dim: Both Plates> 7.5 Inches (19 cm) in diameter x 1 Inch (2.5 cm) in depth.
