Description
For sale, a nice Gaudy Welsh pottery milk jug or creamer dating from around 1800 to 1850. The condition is very good for it's age hence the natural crazing inside the jug, no cracks or chips. Ideal for the collector of early Swansea pottery.
Bear in mind that many factories outside of Wales made these wares from Scotland, Sunderland, England likes of Copeland Spode etc.
Materials: Clay, Bone China, Copper, Cobalt, Russet.
Uses: Kitchen Dining, Milk, Water, Cream.
Date: Circa 1800-50, 60.
Condition: Used/Excellent.
Approx. Size/Dim: 3.5 inches (8.9 cm) high x 3 inches ( 7.6 cm) wide x 4.5 inch (11.5 cm) in depth from lip to back of handle.
