Description
A lovely porcelain pottery bud vase with pink/blue/brown stripes and spoke wheel design and decoration. The pot has been hand thrown on a potters wheel and the base has been well and professional finished off to look more like art pottery. The pot is all skilfully hand painted with coloured wash glazes on fine hard porcelain body and you can see the potters finger marks in the clay when drawn up by hand on the potters wheel.
There are no potters or pottery marks so the country/origin of the vase is uknown and yet to be established with further research, Rye potteries in Sussex is a possibility or European/Japanese.
A beautifully well hand crafted piece of studio ceramics, please enjoy viewing our wonderfull products.
