For Sale: A nice small rustic studio vase with orange/brown and grey geometric decorated glazes on a fine stoneware body. Quality hand thrown by potters Nick and Julie Williams at there studios in Consall Forge, Wetley Rocks, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.
About The Pottery
The Consall Forge pottery established in 1983 is located alongside the Caldon canal at Consall Forge, an idyllic situation in the heart of the Consall Nature Reserve and R.S.P.B. sanctuary.
The pottery produce a comprehensive range of domestic stoneware, specialising in teapots.
By working on small batches of each item the pottery successfully blend repetition with individuality to maintain a freshness and vitality of form which is often missing from production thrown ware.
Each pot is signed using a stamp the pottery made back in the 1970's before becoming full-time potters.
Materials Used: Clay, Stoneware, Ceramic Glazes
